17th February 2016
So we began our first filming session on a cold Wednesday evening in Hainult forest. We did want to start filming earlier but due to bad weather we had to wait, which was one of our factors to consider. Even when the gloomy evening we had been waiting for had come, it was so muddy in the forest, so we had to take extra careful when running etc. As it was February, we didn't have much light to work with, so we had to work extra fast to make sure we got as much done as possible in suitable light so that the trailer pieces together. This is also where we done the photo shoot for our magazine cover and poster.
2nd March 2016
dWe continued filming a few weeks after, due to problems with the group. We got to this new location early, so we had to sit and wait whilst it got dark so we could start filming. The locals were sceptical about what we was doing so we had to explain and they were fine with what we was doing. Our actress, Josie, couldn't actually drive, so we needed to fit the shots in a way it looked like Josie, using Johnson (The director) as her 'stunt double' when the car was moving. As it was dark we had to create a suitable light source, using lights in the car to brighten the scene up a little bit. In the end, this was the final filming session before we got into the editing room ans started piecing it together!
Print Work - 17th February
As I have already said, we took our photos once we finished filming Hainult forest, using different light sources and angles. Having decided we wanted to create an Empire magazine cover, we took photos that would fit the conventions of that cover, although we did take some close ups and other shots incase we changed our mind. Here are some of the best ones we took:
