Factors to consider

Weather - Can't be raining and can't be bright and sunny. Needs to be a dark gloomy day.

Absence - If anybody doesn't turn up on the days we specify for filming then we will have to rearrange as everybody has a vital part in filming and will put our schedule behind. This is why we have acquired Mitchell as an actor, due to illness of a group member and losing a group member.
Permission - If filming in a public residence, we will have to get permission just so we don't scare anyone etc, and if involving knives we may have to inform the police.

Group Brainstorm

The group and I sat together and came up with a first idea of how the trailer would look. Using a large sheet of paper, we drew the three point structure across the page, the second part being the tallest part in the structure. We then placed sticky notes of shots that we wanted within the trailer, placing them in the correct places in the three part structure. This basic planning allowed us to visualise single shots without considering shot type, and simply just what takes place in the shot. As you can see, the second part in the structure contains many shots, the reason for this is because we created an idea of this section very fast paced, and therefore had to have many shots in order to keep the fast paced section filled with action.

Storyboards

Having now gained a solid idea, it was time to try and visualise our idea by creating a storyboard. We have the main basis of our plot on our storyboard but it's not enough to create a long enough trailer, so we decided to make sure we have every important and significant shot on the storyboard and then when we are filming at location we can come up with other effective shots. This useful because it's the stem for everything, so now its time to convert these storyboards into a shot list...

shot list

The shot list is created solely based on the planning sheet that we previously produced, the shot list is every shot formally written down, with the angle of the shot, the movement, description and where the shot will be filmed.
